Details you may want:

  • Visitors who reject or do not answer the banner are not measured: no analytics, no counts, and no cookies beyond the necessary ones.
  • Visitors who accept analytics are measured with PostHog. Your IP address is used to find your country and city and is kept with the visit data. Session recordings hide every field you type in.
  • Google Analytics with Google signals runs only if you accept marketing cookies. Google also uses data from signed-in Google users for its own purposes, under Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
  • Links to auction houses. When you click "View the lot at auction", you leave our site. The link tells the auction house that you came from Collectip (a "utm_source=collectip" tag in the address). We do not send the auction house any personal data. Its own privacy policy applies from then on.
  • Searches on Google. Google Search Console gives us aggregated figures on the Google searches that show our site. Nothing is collected on our site for this.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time: use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or the unsubscribe link in every newsletter. Withdrawing does not affect what happened before.

Write to info@collectip.com. We answer within one month.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch); in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it); or the authority where you live.
