Ado Chale transformed the coffee table into a landscape. Working with bronze, stone and richly textured surfaces, the Belgian designer created pieces that sit somewhere between furniture and sculpture: elemental forms shaped by his fascination with geology and natural materials. His Goutte d’eau tables are among his most recognisable designs.

This selection brings together three works: the sculptural Goutte d’eau coffee table, a second low table and a pair of Copeaux guéridons. Different in scale and surface, each has the same unmistakable presence…functional objects that become the centre of a room.
